Theodor Seuss Geisel (1904-1991), a.k.a. Dr. Seuss is responsible for writing an illustrating dozens of titles, which have sold over 100 million copies in virtually every language and country on the globe. Dr. Seuss's stories have transcended children’s literature and have established some of the best known characters in popular culture.  The world‘s greatest killjoy, The Grinch, is so well known that his name, as a noun, is listed in the dictionary.
