Edward Moore, the chief designer for Tiffany and Company in the late nineteenth century, drew inspiration from classical Greek mythology for the birth of the "Olympian" pattern in 1878. It is considered one of the most elaborate flatware patterns ever created by the company; each piece features different mythological stories depicted in the design.
